Anaïs Vila to launch new album next month with help from some friends from Lipa

Liverpool Acoustic are delighted to present the UK launch of the brand new album from talented singer-songwriter Anaïs Vila.

This exciting evening of music is happening at 81 Renshaw on Friday 1st December 2017.

Hailing from Catalonia, Anaïs Vila has a degree in Journalism, and a Masters in Theatre Studies. But her first love is music and in 2016/17 she took the opportunity to attend Lipa where she studied Pop Music and Music Technology, with a speciality in Songwriting. She came to the attention of a wider Liverpool audience in May 2017 with her highly impressive set supporting Roxanne de Bastion’s album launch at Leaf.

The new album Fosc, Cançons per Veure-hi Clar” (Temps Record 2017) is a bilingual affair recorded in Liverpool and Barcelona, and featuring six songs in Catalan and six in English. Anaïs will be performing on the night with with Andreu Moreno on drums and bass synth and Mateu Peramiquel on keys.

Support is provided by two talented friends currently studying at Lipa.

John Harrington is a pianist and songwriter inspired by James Blake and Regina Spektor. He’s studying Songwriting and Performance, and duets with Anaïs on one of her album tracks.

Enric Verdaguer is a 22 year old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Igualada near Barcelona. He is taking Songwriting and Music Productions, and is known for his intimate and sensitive voice and his harmonically rich and pure songs.
